With over three decades of accomplishments in the music industry, Rick Cua brings deep convictions about the power of music to minister positive messages, along with an astute understanding of the business of music. From his earliest days of performing in his native Syracuse, New York thirty-plus years ago, Rick went on to join the legendary rock band The Outlaws in the 1980s, recording two gold records with them.
From there he became a solo artist. His first album, Koo-ah, was released in 1982 and its first single, You Can Still Rock & Roll, quickly went to number one on the charts. Since then, Cua has released eleven albums with six #1 songs and nine top five hits. In addition, he has been nominated for a Dove Award. Cua has taken his ministry on the road, performing before more than one million people since 1982 both nationally and internationally.
Rick has served as Vice President, Creative, at EMI Christian Music Publishing. He currently owns an entertainment company that provides out sourced services for record labels, recording artists, songwriters and publishers, is involved in personal management and music industry consulting while still writing, recording and ministering though music and the Word.
