Planning to Plan | August 1, 2008

The Artist Insider Crew is scheduled to meet together soon to discuss the future of Artist Insider.

We would love feedback and suggestions either through the contact form or the comments section.

Summer Break | June 1, 2008

We intend to take a break for the summer.

During the break, we intend to make plans, and prerecord some shows for the fall.

Send us feedback and suggestions as to what you would like from Artist Insider.

New webhost | April 3, 2008

Over the last few days we have moved everything over to a new webhost. The old one was not cutting it for us and we are growing.

With the move, almost everything is done and working properly. There are a couple issues with the RSS feed (We are trying something new).

If you find an issue submit the link and what is going on on our contact page.

We do know that the feed and a couple other little things broke in the move and are now working hard to glue it all back together.

plans go boom | March 31, 2008

Part of the plan for today was to write up notes from the CIA Summit and email people we meet there.

Instead we are sitting here working on some upgrades to the great little piece of software that runs this and millions of sites across the world.

If something looks wacky here today, it is due to the upgrade process.

A few pages, like the insider pages, are not working properly now. We should have this fixed in a day or two.

Quick update from the CIA Summit | March 28, 2008

CIA Summit Sign

Sitting here at the Summit, Eric Copeland is now speaking.

Some sad news, and has altered our plans. Greg’s Mother is very sick and his brother called him this morning and said basically “You need to come here today.”

Summit Time | March 28, 2008

We are at the CIA Summit or other Music Conferences in Music City, USA the next couple days. We expect to see lots of our past insiders, including, but not limited to:

The plan is to record both audio and in still images as much as we can. We might even manage to do some updates while we are here. Since we knew this was coming up we focused on How to be successful at a Conference in the most recent Artist Insider Q&A.

Call for People | February 14, 2008

We are looking for additional people to be involved with this venture. The biggest area is people to fill the role of co-host. The plan is to continue to have Artist Insider be two co-hosts interviewing an Insider.

To help with busy schedules we are looking for a few individuals who can fill that role and we will schedule two at a time. This is an independent contractor position with profit sharing. Being near Nashville, TN is a plus, but the real requirements include a desire to learn, an interest in studying Talent Based Industries, and an ability to interview people. Read more

Tweaking & Updating | February 13, 2008

We were represented at PodcampNashville this past weekend. Cliff made a great presentation, you can listen to it here or download it, and later gave Jonathan some tips.

Thus today, we are playing with some systems here to help improve how we work.

Some stuff might be broken for short periods of time.

::: AI Q&A Thursday :::
Greg & Jonathan will do an Artist Insider Q&A on Thursday February 14th. We are working on the time and will update soon.

Archives Back | February 3, 2008

It appears that our free episode host (the place our free ep’s live) has been fixed, thus you should be able to download anything and everything we have released in the past. They are only a few years old and have learned a valuable lesson and implemented new systems to make sure we don’t loose our past shows for nearly as long in the future.

We and they apologize to all the new people who have been to Artist Insider in the past while and could not listen to the show they were looking for.
